What changed in Player One

Platform and admin updates from 15 October to 4 November 2026, newest first. See the latest updates.

Account site

One sign-in for every installation, organisations and teams, and billing in one place

You have one Player One account, and the account site and every installation you belong to sign you in through it. At dashboard.1p.dev you can create installations, invite people into an organisation, give them access by team or project, choose a plan and pay for it. A passkey, an authenticator app or Telegram can protect the account, and you can sign in with Google.

New
Organisations, people and teams
Invite people by email, group them into teams, and give a person or a team the right to log in, administer, create installations, manage billing or manage members. A right can be given on the whole organisation, on a project or on one installation. You can create organisations of your own, up to a limit.
New
Projects group installations
A project is a folder of installations. A right given on a project covers every installation in it, including ones added later.
New
Plans, balance and billing
Choose a plan on the Solo tab for one installation or the Team tab for several, with Enterprise arranged with the Player One team. The Billing tab shows your plan, your balance with top-ups and automatic top-up, your payment methods, your invoices and your pay-as-you-go budget.
New
Create, resize and manage installations
New installation asks where it should go first, and each installation's card shows its state and the one thing that needs you. You can resize an installation onto a free slot of another size.
Security
Passkeys, authenticator apps and Telegram
Protect the account with a passkey, an authenticator app or Telegram as a second step, and keep recovery codes. Your account page lists your devices and the applications with access, and can sign you out everywhere.
New
Sign up and sign in with Google
Anyone can create an account with an emailed six-digit code, or continue with Google.
New
API tokens in Developer settings
Developer settings is the one place to create API tokens, for you or for an organisation. Each token has a level per area, read, write or critical, and starts with 1p_pat_ so a scanner can tell whose key it is.
Improvement
Invitations that say who invited you
An invitation names who invited you and to what, and the page that accepts it takes you into the organisation.
Release v4.0.14

Share files between installations, a Background Tasks page and Amazon Bedrock

You can share the files in a chat with another Player One installation: each side keeps its own copy, and changes arrive with a note on what changed and why. Admin has a Background Tasks page, Amazon Bedrock joins as a provider, and Dropbox, OneDrive and Box connect through an app of your own. Chats with the public are kept apart from your own search and history.

New
Background Tasks
Installation > Background Tasks lists the maintenance jobs Player One runs for itself, one row each, with what the job does and Pause, Resume and Run now for the ones that can be paused.
New
Amazon Bedrock
Amazon Bedrock joins as a provider, on its Converse API at Bedrock's own prices. It connects with an API key or the host's credentials, and the key goes only to Bedrock, in its own region. Kimi K3 is available through it, in US and global versions.
Improvement
Cloud drives through your own app
Dropbox, OneDrive and Box connect through an app you create once in the service's developer console, and your assistant walks you through it. The relay that used to carry these connections is gone.
New
A new assistant asks for its name
A new installation's assistant has no name yet, and its first message asks what you would like to call it.
Security
Chats with the public are kept apart
Search, history and the session list leave out chats with the public unless you ask for them, and then show what a stranger wrote fenced as theirs. The Search page says who said each chat hit.
Security
Sandboxed agents keep each chat's uploads apart
A sandboxed agent gives each chat its own upload folder, and one chat holds at most a quarter of the quota. A visitor's chat never reads your uploads. When the quota is full the agent clears the folders of its least recently used chats, and a chat you delete takes its folders with it.
Fix
Users made through the API keep their password
Password users created or changed through the API now survive a restart.
New
Print and Download as PDF
The preview's file menu has Print and Download as PDF, and a PowerPoint copy converts to PDF.
Improvement
Delete cards say what Always saves
The Always choice on a delete card says what it saves, and a confirmed delete shows in the chat.
Improvement
An upgrade notice you can close
The upgrade notice sits above the new-chat greeting and can be closed for each version.
New
Shares show in the chat
An approved share appears as a card in the thread, with what was shared, its files and expiry, and a Copy link button.
Improvement
Each agent has its own contact card
An agent's name, picture and emoji live on its contact card, and a change shows at once. Your agents lists only the agents on this installation.
Security
Words from another installation stay plain
Words written by another installation are shown as text: no raw HTML is parsed and no pictures are fetched from elsewhere.
Major release v4.0.0

Cards that agents draw in the chat, tabs beside the conversation, and Claude Haiku 5.5

Agents can lay out options, questions and results as cards in the conversation, and files and pages open as tabs beside the chat. Flows can be deleted, and Claude Haiku 5.5 is available.

New
Tabs beside the chat
Files, pages, flows and browser windows open as tabs beside the conversation, replacing the single preview pane. A text file can be edited and saved in its tab, and the agent is told to read it again. An HTML file has a View and Source switch, and a YouTube link plays in a tab.
New
Quizzes and flashcards
A card can hold a quiz or a deck of flashcards. Pick an answer and the deck turns over and takes marks, and on a phone an open deck is a swipeable strip.
New
Choices, forms, plans, charts and more
A card can be a choice, a form, a confirmation, a list of places, a comparison, a plan, a live status, a chart or a quiz question. A form can ask for a secret such as an API key and offer to keep it in your vault.
New
Delete a flow
A flow can be deleted from its row menu or its page, after a confirmation that names it. Nothing can start it again.
New
Claude Haiku 5.5
Claude Haiku 5.5 is available on Anthropic and on Anthropic on Vertex, succeeding Haiku 4.5. Claude Sonnet 5.5 is now on Venice.
Fix
A large workspace no longer keeps Player One restarting
Watching a workspace is now bounded however much it holds, so a very large one can no longer put an installation into a restart loop.
Improvement
Scheduled and Flows pages redesigned
The Scheduled and Flows pages have a new layout, and each flow has a page of its own.
Improvement
Long teammate cards fold
A long card from a teammate folds to its first lines with Show more, and pressing anywhere on it opens or folds it.
New
A new working animation, with an off switch
While Player One works, a swarm of cubes replaces the old ribbons. A pop-up over the animation can turn it off, and Admin > User turns it back on.
Improvement
Notices look the same everywhere
Notices, warnings and toasts across the site share one quiet surface.
Improvement
A livelier voice-note meter
The voice-note recorder's meter shows bass, mid and treble as you speak.
